  • 1.5 oz vodka

Instructions

  • Begin by infusing our milk! Add around a cup of lucky charms to a glass and add milk to cover. Stir and allow to infuse in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • Add vanilla frosting to the rim of a coupe or martini glass and stick on lucky charm marshmallows.
  • Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Pour the charmtini into your prepared serving glasses and enjoy!

  • 1.5 oz Vanilla vodka or liquor of choice Irish whiskey and regular vodka work well!
  • 1.5 oz Kaluha
  • 1.5 oz Peppermint schnapps
  • ¼ oz Simple syrup
  • 2 oz Espresso
  • 3 oz Coconut cream
  • Crushed candy cane

Instructions

  • Let’s start by creating the beautiful candy cane glass!
  • Simply swipe the side of a serving glass with simple syrup, then sprinkle crushed candy cane. Set the glass aside ready for serving.
  • Next. To a cocktail shaker add the vanilla vodka, coffee, kaluha, peppermint schnapps, and simple syrup, along with ice and shake vigorously.
  • To a serving glass, add ice, pour over the cocktail and then top with coconut cream
  • Stir to combine, top with a little extra coconut cream and sprinkle with crushed candy cane

Notes

I love the smooth taste of vanilla vodka, but it does add extra sweetness so if you don't love drinks on the sweet side, I’d recommend regular vodka
I used coconut cream from a can, it’s extra creamy and indulgent, for a lighter version you can use a dairy free milk, regular milk, light coconut milk or cream or regular cream

Please opt for fresh lime in this recipe, the fresh vibrant flavor makes this cocktail stand out.
I opted for a natural grenadine syrup made from pomegranate, you can however, absolutely use any grenadine of choice
I love the floral-fruity notes from elderflower lemonade, it’s all-natural and adds such a lovely freshness. If you’re not a fan of Elderflower or you don’t have it on hand, you can use any sparkling lemonade of choice like sprite or 7up.

Feeling moody? Me too and I’m loving it! The chillier weather and shorter days have got me in the mood for cocktails that are as moody as I am. This Fig and Stormy has all the cozy vibes I’m looking for at this time of the year and it’s not your typical dark n stormy because it’s made with fig preserves and my goodness – what a divine touch! Starring the classic trio of lemon, rum and ginger beer with a tantalizing fun and delicious twist of FIG! The warm peppery notes from the ginger beer, paired with sweet earthy figs is a match made in cocktail heaven. A delicious twist on a classic, this cocktail is going to wow friends and family and be a showstopper at any fall gathering. So grab a glass and prepare to wow friends and family with this fun, moody, and utterly irresistible cocktail.

Fig and Stormy Ingredients

Here’s everything you’ll need to make this cocktail:

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fig preserves
  • 2 ounces dark rum
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 3 ounces ginger beer
  • ice

Garnish Ingredients

  • fresh figs
  • dark chocolate
  • crushed pistachio

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing the beautiful chocolate-covered figs for garnish. Slice a fig in half, dip into melted chocolate, and sprinkle with crushed pistachios. Place on parchment paper and refrigerate.
  • Next, Into a serving glass, add the fig preserves, rum, and lemon juice.
  • Using a cocktail spoon, stir vigorously.
  • Next, fill the glass with ice, then Top with ginger beer and garnish with the chocolate-covered fig.

Notes

  • I made this cocktail with dark rum. The caramel notes pair so well with the sweet fig. Alternatively, you could use a bourbon of choice for a mocktail a zero-proof rum or omit the alcohol entirely 🙂
  • I opted for a fun chocolate fig garnish. It’s not only beautiful but a fun treat whilst sipping your cocktail! Alternatively, you could use just fresh fig or fig with some thyme would also look stunning

Spiced Rum Citrus Cocktail Recipe

There is no better time than the present to toast to arguably the most delicious season of the year! Citrus season has arrived and I can hardly contain my excitement, these may or may not be my favorite fruits to experiment with because they are always delicious, and go well with everything. What better way to kick things off than with this zesty, Spiced Rum Citrus Cocktail? Packed with the sweet and fragrant flavor of sumo citrus, warm spice notes, and a refreshing ginger kick, this cocktail is bound to be the crowd-pleaser at any get-together. Warm spice notes, sweet citrus, peppery ginger and a hint of vanilla is the combination you never knew you needed! 

Ingredients for This Spiced Citrus Rum Spritz

  • Sumo Citrus: The star of the show! Sumo citrus brings a sweet, fragrant burst of flavor that’s truly unique. They are ultra juicy and flavorful making the perfect base for this drink!
  • Rum: The backbone of this cocktail. Spiced rum works great for an extra kick, but feel free to use your favorite rum. 
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: For natural sweetness that enhances the citrus and balances the spice. I’ve made this recipe a few times now and you truly can use whatever syrup based sweetener that you’d like, both provide a slightly different flavor.
  • Lemon Juice: Adds brightness and a hint of tartness to the drink.
  • Cinnamon Stick: Infuses the cocktail with warm spice and also make a beautiful garnish.
  • Vanilla Extract: Adds a subtle sweetness and depth.
  • Cloves or Allspice Berries: Cloves offer a strong spice, while allspice berries provide a more mellow flavor—use based on your taste!
  • Ginger Beer: The peppery bite of ginger beer brings it all together, adding a fizzy and refreshing finish.

How to Make This Spiced Rum Cocktail

Shake it up

In a cocktail shaker, add 3 oz fresh chilled sumo citrus juice, 1.5 oz chilled spiced rum, 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup, juice of half a lemon, the cinnamon stick, cloves (or allspice), and vanilla extract. Shake vigorously for 1-5 minutes, depending on how much spice you want.

Prepare the glass

In a large glass, fill halfway with ice and add a slice of sumo citrus. Then, fill the rest of the glass with more ice.

Pour and Enjoy

Pour the spiced citrus cocktail over the ice and top it off with about 3 oz of chilled ginger beer. Give your cocktail a good stir, garnish with an extra slice of sumo citrus, and enjoy!

Spiced Citrus Rum Spritz

  • cocktail shaker, Cocktail spoon, Cocktail jigger, Hand juicer, Large serving glass

Ingredients

  • 3 oz fresh chilled Sumo Citrus juice (or any citrus fruit of choice) approximately 1 sumo citrus
  • 1.5 oz rum chilled
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple
  • juice half a lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick broken into pieces
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-7 cloves (depending on preference) or allspice berries
  • 3 0z chilled ginger beer
  • slice of sumo citrus for garnish

Instructions

  • Into a cocktail shaker, add the sumo citrus juice, rum, vanilla, cinnamon stick and cloves.
  • Shake vigorously for 1-5 mins *the longer you shake, the more spiced your cocktail will be.
  • Into a large wine glass (or glass of choice) fill halfway with ice, add a slice of sumo citrus and fill the remainder of the glass with ice.
  • Pour your spiced citrus cocktail over the ice and top with ginger beer. Stir. And enjoy!

Notes

  • Cloves have a very powerful taste. Only use one or two for a less dominant flavor. You can also use all spice berries which also have a great flavor!
  • Chill your liquids!
