I kid you not this chocolate pudding recipe is on repeat! I am obsessed with food that seems like you should be guilty but is actually made with wholesome, plant based ingredients! This is the ultimate treat for health enthusiasts and chocolate lovers. This creamy, decadent High Protein Chocolate Pudding is quick to make and includes ingredients that are easy to find no matter where you’re located! Blending the richness of chocolate with the nutritional benefits of high-protein ingredients it’s also dairy-free, refined sugar-free! With ingredients like avocado, vegan protein, and cacao this decadent dessert is the perfect indulgence for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Start by adding ripe avocados, vegan chocolate protein powder, cacao powder, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and coconut milk into a blender or food processor. Blend everything until the mixture becomes silky smooth. For those who like it sweeter, adjust the sweetness with maple syrup to taste.
Once blended, pour the pudding into glass jars, and top with cacao nibs and a sprig of fresh mint for an extra touch of freshness and elegance. This simple process makes a deliciously smooth chocolate pudding that’s ready in minutes!
While this recipe is designed to be completely vegan, whey protein powder can be used as an alternative if you’re not avoiding dairy or if it’s what you have on hand. Whey protein blends well and adds a creamy texture, making it a suitable option for those who prefer it. If you are going to use a non-vegan protein make sure its flavor still compliments the recipe!

I’m always on the lookout for healthy treat ideas and this pudding is a new favorite! Made it for dessert and it’s so ultra creamy and chocolatey and easy to make. It feels decadent and rich but I love that it’s made with healthy ingredients. The added protein is great and makes it a more satisfying dessert. I added a touch of maple syrup to reach just the right amount of sweetness. The other ingredients do a surprisingly good job of masking the taste of the avocado so it’s a win! It pairs well with vegan whipped cream and berries, and I’m sure the recommended cacao nibs and mint would be delicious toppings as well. Great recipe! Will make again.
Hi Chloe! So happy you tried my pudding! It’s a great healthy dessert option! So glad you loved it 🙂
