I’m all about saving a dollar and when I realized that those ginger shots, immunity shots and little tiny bottles of liquid gold were slowly eating up my wallet I had to stop and think about how to make these myself. They are an amazing addition to my fridge; they take minutes to make but offer so many benefits to my body and mind. I’m all about embracing the do it yourself energy, living a healthy lifestyle and NOT breaking my bank. Today, I’m sharing with you a recipe that I’ve been making variations of for months now – these tiny but mighty Wellness Shots pack a punch of nutrients and health benefits. Make these Green Wellness Shots and boost your immune system, fight inflammation, and enjoy the myriad health benefits these potent drinks offer.
Wellness shots are concentrated beverages made from nutrient-dense ingredients, designed to deliver a quick boost of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They’re an excellent way to supplement your diet and support overall health, especially for busy individuals seeking to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
Making wellness shots at home puts the control in your hands! That means that you can use whatever ingredients you want, you can switch up your concoctions based on what properties you’d like to have. Having full control also means that you can avoid additives and sweeteners found in many store-bought versions (to maintain shelf life or appeal to the masses). Plus, it’s cost-effective and customizable, allowing you to tailor each batch to your taste preferences and health needs.
Creating your wellness shots at home is simpler than you might think. This wellness recipe calls for a blend of greens, green apples, pineapple, parsley, ginger, kiwis, limes, celery, cucumber, and coconut water. This combination ensures each shot is brimming with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants essential for a healthy body and mind. Simply blend, sieve, and store – it’s that easy to prepare these nutrient-rich shots.
The ingredients in these homemade Wellness Shots are carefully selected for their health-promoting properties. Greens and parsley provide a base rich in vitamins A, C, and K, while green apples and pineapple add a naturally sweet, tangy flavor and digestive enzymes. Ginger and kiwi are known for their anti-inflammatory benefits, and lime juice adds a vitamin C boost. Celery and cucumber round out the mix with hydration and additional nutrients, making these shots a powerful tool for boosting immunity.

What can you substitute for coconut water? Is regular water good too
Hi Roni! You can absolutely use regular water. Be aware though, that the coconut water adds sweetness and electrolytes that will be missing if you use regular water. You could always substitute with 1/2 water and 1/2 pineapple/apple juice too so it’s not too watered down. Hope this helps!
Can I make this in a cool press juicer?
Hi Vanessa! I’ve never tried it with a cold press but I can’t see why not! Maybe just add the coconut water after and shake well! Lmk if you try it!
