2heaping handful of greens of choiceI used a spring mix, kale is a good option as well
1½green applessliced
2cupsfresh pineapplediced
½cupfresh parsleychopped
ginger
2kiwispeeled, sliced
2limesjuiced
2-3large stalks of celerychopped
½a large cucumbersliced
5cupscoconut water*add extra if the mix is struggling to blend.
Instructions
Begin by slicing and preparing all ingredients and set aside.
Then. Let’s grab our blenders, and very simply add all ingredients.
Blend until thoroughly combined.
Next, over a large measuring cup or bowl, place a fine sieve ,and pour the mixture in batches, pressing the juice through each time.
Once you have that green liquid gold sieved, grab your little glass bottles or air tight pitcher and pour the mixture in, then seal tight.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks (but trust me they will be gone quick smart!)
Then enjoy daily! I’d recommend taking one shot daily every morning on an empty stomach
Notes
** The great thing about these wellness shots is you can add, substitute or take away anything you don’t want to include. The mix I’ve created was designed for maximum nutritional content for a healthy gut, but please feel free to swap out what you would prefer.** I filled my 12 pack of shot bottles and kept the remainder in an air-tight glass bottle. The shot bottles are available in my shop! Grab them HERE. But you can keep the entire batch in a bottle and pour shots daily also.** This recipe can also be done with a juicer, just skip the sieving step. I wanted to create a recipe that can be without a juicer for those who don’t own one. But feel free to use a juicer if you have one :)
