Good morning, breakfast champions! 🌞 Breakfast is where we set the tone for our day, and what better way to kickstart it than with a bowl of Elderberry Oats?

Imagine this: a vibrant, purple-hued bowl filled with the goodness of elderberries, gluten-free oats, and a medley of delightful toppings. It’s not just breakfast; it’s a celebration of colors, flavors, and, most importantly, a boost for your immunity.

This easy breakfast comes together in minutes

  • ELDERBERRY POWDER: If you happen to have peeps previous recipes of mine, you’ll see I love color, and I loveeee superfoods and adding as much nutritional value as I can into each recipe. I love discovering and creating with superfoods. ELDERBERRY is an immunity powerhouse. I’m sure you’ve heard of or even have elderberry gummies or tablets. But elderberry powder is a new and fun way to boost your morning breakfast! 
  • GROUND FLAX PACKED: Full of fiber and great in aiding digestive issues, lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels too. Ground flax is such an easy addition to your diet and I use it a lot in my recipes! It’s so easy to incorporate. I use them in smoothies and shakes. Oats like these and even sprinkle them on dairy free ice cream! I use bare organics. You can shop in my favorites section. 
  • GLUTEN FREE OATS: I opted for gluten free oats in this recipe. You can sub for old fashioned or even steel cut (adjust cooking time for that) oats are one of my most favorite ingredients. Elderberry Oats

Elderberries!!! Immunity boosting super berries!! These oats! Like a big warm cuddle from nature! Protecting your bod like a lil purple berry NINJA!! Haha. These cozy immunity boosting oats are as delicious as they are bright and beautiful. Oats are the most amazing blank canvas that we can add colors, flavors and nutrients to! These oats will fuel your body and make your taste buds do a happy dance.

Ingredients
  

Oats Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free oats
  • ¾ cup chia milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp elderberry powder I used BARE ORGANICS
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 scoop ground flax I used BARE ORGANICS
  • ¼ tsp vanilla

Topping Ingredients

  • banana
  • fig
  • strawberries
  • coconut

Instructions
 

  • To a pot add your oats, milk, water, maple syrup, vanilla and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir continuously till the oats are cooked.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the elderberry, almond butter, and flax.
  • Add to a bowl and top with the yums and booooost ya day and bod!!! Happy Thursday my peeps!!
