And this Rainbow Superfruit Smoothie Bowl is the epitome of joyful eating. We’re talking about a bowl filled with the colors of the rainbow, each bite packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and natural sweetness. It’s not just a breakfast; it’s a reminder that healthy eating can be an absolute delight. So, join me as we explore the ingredients, blend up a storm, and create a beautiful bowl of pure happiness. Let’s get started!

  • FROZEN BANANA: Banana is a staple in my freezer. I’m always making smoothies. When you have overripe bananas, simply peel, chop, and add to a zip lock freezer bag. Perfect for whenever smoothie time hits. I love using bananas in smoothies. Not only for natural sweetness but added fiber and potassium. They are so good for aiding digestion too. Perfect start to the day!
  • OATS: Oats are a FABULOUS addition to smoothies. They thicken the texture and also add protein and help keep you full and give you long lasting energy for the day!
  • PLANT BASED MILK: I used almond milk. But any milk of choice will be great!
  • FROZEN MIXED BERRIES: Bursting full of antioxidants, vitamin C and fiber. Berries should be a brekkie essential. They give beautiful color and flavor!
  • PLANT BASED VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER: There are so many delicious plant based protein powders available now. I love OWYN personally. But whatever vanilla protein powder you choose will be perf.
  • GROUND FLAX: For anyone struggling with digestive issues. Adding fiber to your diet can be a game changer! Ground flax aids your digestive system, can lower cholesterol and helps keep you full!
  • PLUMCOT: As I mentioned. This wonder fruit is a hybrid between plum and apricot and is beyond delicious. If they are t in season or you can’t find them you can absolutely sub for any fruit of choice!
  • FRESH STRAWBERRY: Adding fresh fruit to smoothies is one of my faves! I couldn’t go a day without Strawbs and the texture and sweetness is so perfect for topping this smoothie bowl!
  • SHREDDED COCONUT: I used unsweetened. Coconut is such a lovely smoothie bowl topping. It adds healthy fat, a beautiful nutty tropical flavor and a much needed balance of textures!

Freeze and Chill

First things first, let’s prep our stage. Pop your serving bowl in the freezer to get it all nice and frosty. This will keep your smoothie bowl refreshingly cold when it’s showtime.

Blend to Perfection

Now, onto the main act – the smoothie! In a high-speed blender, bring together an overripe frozen banana, a generous scoop of gluten-free oats for that wonderful thickness, half a cup of your favorite plant-based milk (I’m all about almond milk), a heap of frozen mixed berries (they’re like little antioxidant powerhouses), and a scoop of plant-based vanilla protein powder. And don’t forget to add a spoonful of ground flax for that extra fiber and digestive boost. Start blending on low and gradually crank up the speed, giving it a helping hand by scraping down the sides if needed. We’re aiming for a silky-smooth performance here!

Top with Delight

Once your smoothie has hit that velvety sweet spot, it’s time to bring on the toppings. Grab that chilled bowl and carefully ladle your berry masterpiece into it. Now comes the fun part – decorating your creation. Slice up a luscious plumcot, scatter some freshly sliced strawberries, and sprinkle on a generous handful of shredded coconut. These toppings not only add layers of flavor but also create a delightful mix of textures. And there you have it, my Berrynanza Protein Smoothie Bowl in all its glory! Dive in and savor the berrygasmic delight!

And there you have it, my wonderful friends – our colorful adventure with the Rainbow Superfruit Smoothie Bowl comes to a close. I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as I have. Food, in my world, is more than just sustenance; it’s a source of joy, creativity, and well-being. This bowl, with its blend of fresh fruits, superfoods, and a whole lot of love, embodies that philosophy perfectly. It’s a reminder that making healthy choices doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor or fun.

As you embark on your own culinary adventures, whether it’s creating this vibrant bowl or experimenting with other delicious recipes, always remember that food should make you happy. It should nourish your body, tantalize your taste buds, and put a smile on your face. So, here’s to many more joyful moments in the kitchen and at the dining table.
