Pink Pineapple Refresher Ingredients

  • Pink Pineapple: I just love pink pineapples! They can usually be found in smaller or farmers market-style grocery stores. With their beautiful pink hue and sweeter taste than regular pineapples, they are perfect for this drink. But don’t worry, regular pineapples work just as well!
  • Lemon: Refreshing, bright, and zippy, lemon is the best way to cool down and is great for a healthy digestive system.
  • Coconut Water: Nature’s ultimate body hydrator! Packed with electrolytes, coconut water is a fun way to stay hydrated and adds the perfect amount of natural sweetness.
  • Ice: Adds body, a slushee texture, and makes the drink perfectly cold.
  • Slices of Pineapple for Garnish: Adds a decorative touch and an extra burst of flavor.

How to Make this Refresher

To make your own Pink Pineapple Refresher, start by chopping the pink pineapple and peeling and chopping the lemon. Measure out the coconut water and ice. Add all the ingredients into the blender and hit go until fully combined and smooth. Pour the mixture straight into glasses. If you prefer a smoother drink, you can strain the liquid through a fine sieve to remove the pulp. Garnish with slices of pineapple and enjoy your refreshing drink immediately, or store it in the fridge for later. You can opt to make a large batch of this and enjoy it with company on a hot sunny day!

What is a Refresher?

A refresher is a light, refreshing drink designed to cool you down and hydrate you, perfect for hot summer days. It typically combines fruits, herbs, and hydrating liquids like water or coconut water, resulting in a deliciously revitalizing beverage. This Pink Pineapple Refresher is the ideal example, bringing together sweet pink pineapple, tangy lemon, and hydrating coconut water for the ultimate summer drink.

Can I Make This Drink with Alcohol?

Absolutely! If you want to turn this refreshing drink into a fun summer cocktail, you can easily add a splash of your favorite spirit. Light rum, vodka, or tequila would pair wonderfully with the flavors in this drink. Just add the alcohol to the blender with the other ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy responsibly!
