Christmas Chocolate Candy Cane Chia Pudding

Experience a Chrissy pud transformed into a festive breakfast treat! Dive into a chocolaty chia delight, topped with holiday-inspired garnish, making mornings merry, bright, and oh-so-delicious. A vegan breakfast sensation!

Ho ho ho! The festive season is here, and what better way to jump-start the holiday spirit than with a Christmas pudding… for breakfast! Forget the traditional desserts; we’re shaking things up, and breakfast has never been merrier. Infused with the richness of cacao, the texture of chia seeds, and the sweetness of candy cane granola, every spoonful is a celebration of yuletide joy.

Get your Christmas on and gather these festive ingredients:

  • Chia Seeds: These tiny black seeds are nothing short of miraculous! Transforming any liquid into a pudding-like wonder, chia seeds are a powerhouse of nutrients, offering protein, omega-3s, and a delightful texture.
  • Plant Milk: The foundation of our chia pudding. I chose almond milk, but the creaminess of cashew or rice milk would blend beautifully as well.
  • Coconut Sugar: This natural sweetener not only adds a caramel-like sweetness but ensures the pudding isn’t overly sweet, letting other flavors shine.
  • Cacao Duo: With both cacao powder and cacao nibs in the mix, you’re in for a double chocolate treat. While the powder brings rich flavors, the nibs add a delightful crunch.
  • Chocolate Candy Cane Granola: This seasonal star adds the perfect festive twist. Every bite brings a hint of holiday spirit to the table!
  • The Festive Toppings: Fresh cranberries and collard leaves cut into holly shapes are the cherry on top, adding the perfect festive touch and giving that classic Christmas pudding look!

The holiday season is about traditions, memories, and the joy of being with loved ones. But, who said we couldn’t create new traditions? This chia pudding is my attempt to merge the old with the new, blending the warmth of traditional flavors with a fresh, vegan spin. It’s the comfort of home, with a dash of novelty.

Now, as we gather around our breakfast tables, let’s make the mornings count. Let’s infuse them with joy, laughter, and the spirit of the season. And what better way to do it than with a bowl of this pudding? Whether you’re starting your day opening gifts, sharing stories, or simply soaking in the festive vibes, let this pudding be your sweet companion.

As the year wraps up and we usher in the festive spirit, indulge in this delightful chia pudding. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a celebration in a bowl. Happy Holidays and here’s to creating new memories and traditions! 🎄
