If there’s one drink I keep coming back to when the weather heats up, it’s this strawberry mojito mocktail. It’s fresh, fizzy, lightly sweet, and honestly feels like something you’d order at a beachside café, except you can make it in about five minutes at home.

This is one of those recipes that proves you don’t need alcohol to make a drink feel fun, special, and a little bit fancy. It’s packed with fresh strawberries, mint, lime, and coconut water, then topped with sparkling soda water for that refreshing fizz.

Whether you’re making it for a summer gathering, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or just because you want something a little more exciting than plain water, this one hits the spot every time.

Why You’ll Love This Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

There are so many reasons this drink has become a staple:

First, it’s incredibly refreshing. The combination of mint, lime, and strawberries is basically summer in a glass.

Second, it’s naturally non-alcoholic, so everyone can enjoy it.

Third, it’s made with simple, wholesome ingredients you probably already have on hand.

Finally, it comes together in minutes with no fancy equipment needed.

Ingredients (Per Drink)

  • 3/4 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (2–4 strawberries, sliced)
  • 8–10 fresh mint leaves
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 tbsp elderflower syrup or sweetener of choice (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Soda water or seltzer, to top

How to Make a Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

This is where the magic happens—and it’s much easier than it looks.

First, grab a tall glass and add your sliced strawberries, fresh lime juice, and elderflower syrup (if you’re using it). Then, use a muddler to gently crush everything together. This helps release the strawberry juices and blends the flavors beautifully.

Next, take your fresh mint leaves and lightly tap them against the glass or clap them between your hands. This little step wakes up the mint oils and makes the drink smell incredible. Add the mint straight into the glass.

After that, fill your glass with ice cubes until it’s nice and chilled.

Now pour in the coconut water, about 3/4 cup per drink.

Finally, top everything with soda water or seltzer for that signature mojito fizz. Give it a gentle stir, and you’re done.

Tips for the Best Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

If you want to take this drink to the next level, here are a few simple tips:

  • Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness
  • Don’t over-muddle the mint or it can taste bitter
  • Adjust sweetness depending on your strawberries (some are naturally sweeter than others)
  • Add extra lime if you love a tangier drink
  • Serve immediately for maximum fizz and freshness

Make It Your Own

One of the best things about this strawberry mojito mocktail is how easy it is to customize.

You can swap elderflower syrup for honey, maple syrup, or skip it entirely if your strawberries are sweet enough. You can also add extra berries like raspberries for a twist, or even a splash of pineapple juice for a tropical vibe.

Final Thoughts

This strawberry mojito mocktail is proof that simple ingredients can create something really special. It’s fresh, vibrant, and just the right balance of sweet and citrusy with that refreshing mint finish.

It’s the kind of drink you’ll make once… and then keep making all summer long.
