Cantaloupe and Mango Smoothie Bowl

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a luscious Cantaloupe and Mango Smoothie Bowl that's brimming with fruity goodness.

Hello, lovely souls! Whether you’re a vibrant spring enthusiast or someone who adores the touch of sunshine in every bite, this Cantaloupe and Mango Smoothie Bowl is here to brighten your day. As an Aussie living in the heart of Los Angeles, I’ve crafted this bowl of sheer delight that marries memories with flavors, giving you a taste of spring no matter where you are.

A big ol’ bowl of nutrition:

There’s an art to blending taste and health, and this smoothie bowl is the masterpiece. My secret ingredient? Sneaky veggies! Tucked amidst the vibrant goodness of fruits, the frozen cauliflower is a game-changer, effortlessly boosting your daily veggie intake. And oh, the symphony of flavors! Creamy frozen banana, sweet cantaloupe, tropical mango, and the subtle nuttiness of sunflower seeds make this bowl a melody of joy.

What you will need for this smoothie bowl:

FROZEN BANANA: banana is always a go to smoothie vase for a reason. It adds creaminess and natural sweetness and also a dreamy thick texture. I highly recommend keeping some prepped in your freezer. It’s a great way to use up old bananas. Simply peel and chop browning bananas and store in an airtight container or ziplock in the freezer.

FRESH CANTELOUPE: this sweet and juicy melon is definitely a favorite of mine. It hold stron memories as a kid growing up in Australia! I used to eat these by the half! If you’re not a cantaloupe)or rock melon) fan. You could always use honey dew melon too! In this recipe it’s used both in the smoothie and fresh chopped ontop!

FROZEN MANGO: sweet beautiful tropical flavor. Mango screams happiness. It’s always popping up in my smoothie recipes as it’s natural sweetness and ability to thicken a smoothie is the best!

FROZEN CAULIFLOWER: yayyy for sneaky veggies!! Smoothies are the best jack ever for parents trying to incorporate more veggies into their children’s diet and even for people who struggle to fit in their daily veg intake. Adding vegetables like broccoli spinach and in this case cauliflower to smoothies goes completely unnoticed.

PLANT BASED VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER: I love adding protein powder to smoothie bowls. Find a good quality clean protein powder and you’re ready to go. Adding protein to each meal helps digestion and allows you to hit your body’s daily protein needs. It also makes it a perfect breakfast to start the day. Giving you energy and fuel.

MUSHROOM IMMUNITY POWDER: I love adding this powder to so many of my recipes! I personally use bare organics. I e found there is little to no taste so it can be added to both sweet and savory. Mushroom are such a winderfood. These mushroom powders aid with inflammation within the body, can improve concentration and boost immunity. Since you can’t taste it. It’s another way to add nutrients with sacrificing flavor.

FLAX MILK: I chose flax milk for the added fiber, calcium and protein. Flax milk is so creamy and is excellent in smoothies! If flax cannot be found. Any plant milk will work!

SUNFLOWER SEEDS: I’m allll about adding crunch. Especially when it comes to smoothies. I love to have a bite and something to chew on! Haha they also provide healthy fat and protein.

COCONUT CHIPS: again add an amazing crunch. With a perfectly nutty tropical flavor. If you can’t find coconut chips. Shredded or dessicated coconut will still be delish!!!

Let’s talk about fueling your body with goodness. We’ve got you covered with plant-based protein. A tablespoon of vanilla plant-based protein powder combines seamlessly with the mushrooms’ immunity-boosting magic.

Yes, you heard it right—mushroom immunity powder. A dash of this treasure enhances your body’s defense system while you savor every spoonful!

Creating this Masterpiece is easier than you think!

Gather your ingredients—frozen bananas, juicy cantaloupe, mango, cauliflower, protein powder, mushroom immunity powder, and flax milk. Toss them into a blender and whirl it into velvety perfection. As you pour the smoothie into your bowl, anticipate the explosion of flavors and colors.

Spring to life with each spoonful! The marriage of creamy, fruity, and nutty textures dances on your taste buds. But wait, there’s more—toppings! A crown of fresh cantaloupe, a sprinkle of coconut chips for that tropical twist, and sunflower seeds for the satisfying crunch. The result? A symphony of flavors, a palette of textures, and a plate of pure artistry.

As you enjoy this Cantaloupe and Mango Smoothie Bowl, remember that every bite is a canvas of happiness. Spring’s energy is in the air! Whether you’re a seasoned foodie, a health enthusiast, or someone seeking a taste of paradise, this bowl speaks to you.

So, my dear friends, blend, indulge, and let the taste of spring whisk you away to a world of pure delight.
