Ingredient Highlights

Roasted Pecans

Roasting the pecans first makes a big difference here. It brings out their natural nuttiness and gives the smoothie an even deeper pecan pie flavor.

Maple Syrup

A little maple syrup adds natural sweetness while also bringing that rich, caramel-like flavor that pairs so beautifully with pecans.

Cinnamon and Nutmeg

These two spices give the smoothie its signature cozy fall flavor. Cinnamon adds warmth, while just a pinch of nutmeg adds that subtle spice you expect from a classic pie.

Frozen Banana

Frozen banana helps create a thick, creamy smoothie without needing to add extra dairy. It also adds natural sweetness that works beautifully with the maple syrup.

Oats, Chia Seeds, and Ground Flaxseed

These ingredients give the smoothie a hearty texture and make it feel much more satisfying than a simple fruit smoothie.

How to Make a Pecan Pie Smoothie

Start by adding the coconut water, vanilla protein powder if using, roasted pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, oats, ice, frozen banana, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, and shredded coconut to a high-speed blender.

Blend until completely smooth, thick, and creamy. If your smoothie is thicker than you’d like, add a small splash of coconut water and blend again.

Pour into a chilled serving glass and finish with whipped topping and a roasted pecan.

Serve immediately and enjoy your little pecan pie in a glass moment.

How to Serve

This Pecan Pie Smoothie is especially delicious when served cold with a generous swirl of whipped topping and a roasted pecan on top.

For an extra pie-inspired finish, you can add a light sprinkle of cinnamon or finely chopped roasted pecans.

It’s perfect for:

●A cozy fall breakfast

●Quick autumn snack

●Weekend brunch

●Thanksgiving morning treat

●A sweet afternoon pick-me-up

●Any time you’re craving pecan pie flavors

Tips for the Best Pecan Pie Smoothie

Roast the pecans first. This small extra step gives the smoothie a much richer and more pronounced pecan flavor.

Use a frozen banana. A frozen banana creates a naturally thick and creamy texture while keeping the smoothie cold.

Adjust the sweetness. Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and add more if you’d like a sweeter smoothie.

Don’t skip the spices. The combination of cinnamon and nutmeg is what really brings those classic pie flavors together.

Serve it immediately. This smoothie is at its thickest and creamiest right after blending.

Can I Make This Smoothie Without Protein Powder?

Absolutely. The vanilla protein powder is completely optional. Leaving it out will still give you a creamy, flavorful pecan pie smoothie.

If you do use protein powder, vanilla works especially well because it complements the maple, pecan, and warm spices without overpowering them.

The Perfect Fall Smoothie

There is something so fun about taking a classic dessert and turning it into a completely different kind of treat, and this Pecan Pie Smoothie does exactly that.

It has all the flavors you want from pecan pie… roasted pecans, maple, cinnamon, and nutmeg, but in a cold, creamy smoothie that takes only minutes to make.

Just top it with whipped topping and a roasted pecan, grab a straw, and you’ve got the coziest little taste of fall in a glass.
