Spooky Halloween Smoothie

This Spooky Halloween Smoothie is the ultimate treat to get into the Halloween spirit! With frozen bananas, mango, oats, and activated charcoal, it’s not only fun but also packed with nutrients. The spookiest part is that your family will have no idea how healthy the drink is because of its appearance and delicious taste! Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or any Halloween gathering!   • Blender, Halloween straw (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • frozen bananas
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 cup oat milk or plant milk of choice
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 tsp activated charcoal or all natural food grade black dye
  • tbsp vegan yogurt
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine the yogurt and pumpkin puree, mix well and set aside
  • Grab your serving glass, and with the back of a spoon, swipe inside the glass from the bottom up to create any pattern you’d like.
  • Set aside the prepared serving glass, then add the bananas, mango, oats, activated charcoal* and ice, then blend until creamy, smooth (and spooky)
  • Pour the amazing black smoothie into your prepared smoothie glass and watch as the pattern emerges!
  • Top with a spooky Halloween themed straw. And enjoy this frightfully good Halloween breakfast!

Notes

If you’re not a pumpkin fan, you can always substitute for sweet potato OR use natural orange food dye.
