- 16 oz vegan white chocolate
- 1½ tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1½ cups hazelnut cacao spread
- cacao nibs
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the vegan white chocolate, and coconut oil and microwave in 30-second increments until completely melted.
Next whisk in the matcha powder until thoroughly combined.
Grab a silicone Reese’s chocolate mold and spoon approximately 1/2-1 tsp of the matcha chocolate into each mold and using the back of a spoon, swipe the chocolate up the sides of each mold to cover both the base and sides.
Transfer the mold to the freezer and allow to set. (Approx 2 minutes)
Remove the mold from the freezer and spoon a teaspoon of hazelnut cacao spread into each chocolate shell.
Next spoon some more matcha chocolate, to cover. Fill all the way to the top.
Sprinkle with cacao nibs and return to the freezer to set.
Repeat until all chocolates are made. And set.
Once set. Pop each chocolate out of their molds and store in an airtight container in either the fridge or freezer
** I used silicone molds that are shaped perfectly for Reese’s inspired chocolates. These are the ones I used, click here
** This recipe requires hazelnut chocolate spread. I always opt for natural versions of my favorite items. I used ARTISANA hazelnut cacao spread. It tastes just like Nutella! But it’s all natural, organic, no palm oil and full of vitamins from natural cacao.
** The cacao nibs on top are optional. They add not only a fun crunch but a natural chocolate bitterness. So if you’re not a fan please simply omit from the recipe.
