Cozy Peanut Butter Protein Porridge

Pepitas, Peanut Butter, Protein, Punk yeah! Natural plant based protein, packed full of nutrient dense goodies. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the sweetest!
This beaut of a brekkie is ready in 5 minutes and is packed with healthy fats, iron, and protein. This one is for sweat pants and cuddles! Or an awesome pre or post workout! These oats will get that bod into gear for a beaut of a day!

Ingredients
  

Ingredients

  • ½ cup gluten free oats
  • ½ cup hemp milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Topping Ingredients

  • apricots
  • ½ banana
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

Instructions
 

  • To a saucepan add your oats, hemp milk, water, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until your oats have reached your desired consistency. (For a looser consistency add a splash of extra hemp milk)
  • Once cooked. Remove from heat and stir in your protein powder.
  • Spoon into your bowl and top with your apricot, hemp, pb, banana and pepitas. Or any toppings your little heart desires!
