Citrus Creamsicle Smoothie

Just when you thought those nostalgic orange creamsicle flavors couldn’t get any better….. Move over oranges! There’s a new citrus in town!!! Sumo citrus!! And it gives the most mind warpingly DELICIOUS bump of flavor to this creamsicle smoothie!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sumo citrus (or citrus of choice) peeled, segmented, frozen
  • 3 bananas sliced, fresh
  • 2 cups vegan Greek-style yogurt
  • cup plant milk of choice
  • extra vegan Greek yogurt to line the serving glasses
  • citrus peel for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preparing the serving glasses. With the back of a spoon, swipe yogurt on the inside of the serving glasses and leave it to chill in the fridge.
  • Then, to a blender, add the frozen sumo citrus, banana, yogurt and plant milk. Blend until silky smooth
  • Remove the beautifully prepared glasses from the fridge and pour in the smoothie. Garnish with fresh sumo citrus rind and enjoy!

Notes

If you are using citrus that is a little tart. Add 1-2 tbs of maple syrup for sweetness
