These vibrant blue spirulina lemon ginger shots are a refreshing, nutrient-rich wellness drink designed to support your immune system and overall health. Made with fresh lemon, apple, ginger, and blue spirulina powder, this powerful shot is as beautiful as it is beneficial.

Equipment

  • Blender, fine metal sieve, shot glass jars or mason jar, large measuring jug

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large fresh lemons peeled, sliced
  • 1 large apple peeled, cored, chopped
  • 4 cups coconut water
  • 2 thumb sized pieces of fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp blue spirulina powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Simply combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Mix, strain through a fine metal sieve and poor into glass shot jars (if using) or a large airtight jar.
  • Enjoy daily, and store in the fridge for up to a week!

Notes

I used maple syrup for sweetening. Feel free to use raw honey or a sweetener of choice
