Equipment

  • cocktail shaker, cocktail jigger, serving glass

Ingredients

  • 3 oz fresh apple cider
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional, or pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup optional for extra sweetness
  • 3 oz all-natural ginger beer
  • cinnamon sugar for garnish
  • maple syrup for garnish
  • sliced apples for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim of a serving glass. Dip into the maple syrup, followed by the cinnamon sugar. And set aside.
  • Next, into a cocktail shaker, add the apple cider, tequila, maple syrup(if using), cinnamon stick, and fresh lime juice.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously.
  • Fill the serving glass with ice. Add the margarita followed by the beautiful Belvoir farms ginger beer.
  • Garnish with apple slices and/or a cinnamon stick and enjoy!

Notes

  • I used an all-natural store-bought apple cider, you can also use fresh apple with a touch of cinnamon!
  • Cinnamon Sugar: 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 tsp ground cinnamon. You only need 1 tbsp for this recipe.
  • If you like things on the sweeter side or if you’re not doing the cinnamon sugar rim, I suggest adding the optional 1 tsp of maple syrup to this recipe. I loved the balance without but I know tastes differ! So adjust to your own liking!
  • To make more than one: adjust the measurements by the number of people you are serving!
