Pina Colada Smoothie

Who wants a pina colada for breakfast!?! Haha well now you can. And guess what!? It’s HEALTHY TOO! This amazing smoothie can be a delicious start to the morning or even a fun and healthy drink to serve your friends and family! Made with all those familiar pina colada flavors like coconut and pineapple with added nutrient benefits of turmeric. This delicious tropical smoothie will have you glowing from the inside out!

Equipment

  • blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • cups coconut milk or coconut cream
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup vanilla plant based yogurt
  • dash of turmeric optional
  • vegan whipped topping and slice of fresh pineapple for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Simply add all ingredients into a high speed blender and Blend until silky smooth.
  • Pour your smoothie into a glass. (I opted for my favorite pineapple glass) **available in my shop my favorites section.
  • Then top with vegan whipped topping and a slice of fresh pineapple

Notes

If pineapple isn’t available I’ve also created this with just mango and it’s DELICIOUS!!
** for an extra protein boost add 1 scoop of plantbased vanilla protein powder
