Equipment

  • cutting board, sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango

Instructions

  • Simply peel and thinly slice a mango cheek
  • Next, straighten the slices into a line and fold them into a spiral shape.
  • Using your fingers you can fan out the slices to make a perfect rose.
  • And there you go! These are so much fun you guys and I really just want to show you all these pretty cute little things that I put in my recipes. Are not as hard as you think. Let’s have some fun!

Notes

** look for a mango that is ripe but not too ripe. The slices need to be pliable so underripe will not yield perfect roses.
**be sure to use a very sharp chefs knife so you can make clean precise slices.
The best mango hack is you can peel them with a vegetable peeler! So easy, no mess and leaves a perfectly smooth, perfectly peeled mango cheek!!
