Air Fryer Beets

Say hello to the best side, snack and ultimate way to eat beets! I got a million messages after I posted my favorite way to eat beets to my stories so now I thought I’d share to everyone! Taking no time to prepare these beets are simple, craveworthy, sweet, sticky, savory and will fast become your go to guilt free indulgence. Air frying is so quick it maintains much of the beets nutrients while caramelizing the outside I use these as a meal prep EVERY single week and add to salads, powerbowl, pasta, quinoa or even just by itself! The options are limitless! So grab your air fryers and let’s go to beet heaven!!

Equipment

  • air fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 large fresh beets
  • drizzle of olive oil
  • sprinkle of fresh sea salt to taste
  • fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder adjust to taste and quantity

Instructions
 

  • Simple scrub and wash the outsides of the beets, removing the leaves **which you can save and use in stir frys and salads!
  • Chop the beets into a fine dice. The smaller they are, the quicker they cook
  • Add to an airfryer, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • Air fry at 400* until the beets have softened, but still have a bite, and have crisped up and started to caramelize. Usually around 10 mins.
