Easter Charcuterie Board

Spring is in the air, which means pastels, cute things, flower inspired meals and sunshine! Around this time of the year in particular I get quite excited because I’m a big fan of holidays (if you didn’t already know!), and Easter is around the corner which in my mind means egg hunts, and the most adorable (and delicious) Easter charcuterie board you’ve ever seen! Whether you’re hosting a spring brunch, planning an Easter party, or just love themed charcuterie boards, this Easter cheese board is a guaranteed hit. Think: bunny-shaped cheese, baby chick snacks, and pastel-perfect garnishes that are almost too cute to eat… almost. Let’s build the Easter snack board of your dreams—equal parts festive, fresh, and ridiculously fun to assemble.

What is a Charcuterie Board?

A charcuterie board is traditionally a spread of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and accompaniments beautifully arranged on a board or tray. Over the years, themed charcuterie boards have taken on a life of their own, especially around the holidays! No holiday is safe in my books, so you know I had to put together an Easter themed snack board with all the fixings! From savory meats and cheeses to candies, fruits, and crackers, a charcuterie board is an edible centerpiece that’s easy to assemble and totally customizable. Ingredients to Make an Easter Charcuterie Board

Snack boards and charcuterie are all about getting experimental, so feel free to gather anything you want. Here’s what I use to create my Easter Snack Board:

  • Hard and soft cheeses: Try Asiago, fontal with cocoa rub, and mascarpone or cream cheese. Any cheeses will work, parmesan, cheddar, blue cheese, whatever you desire!
  • Assorted crackers: Choose a mix of shapes and textures.
  • Carrots and cucumbers: Crinkle-cut or sliced into fun shapes. You can also enjoy other veggies like bell peppers or broccoli florets.
  • Raisins and goji berries: For eyes, noses, and cute details!
  • Cherry tomatoes: For a fresh pop of color.
  • Fresh greens: Baby or cos lettuce works great as a base.
  • Spring flowers: Optional, but oh-so pretty.
  • Optional additions: sliced meats, pastel candies, or even chocolate eggs if you want to blend sweet and savory.

How To Make An Easter Themed Charcuterie Board

Making this board takes a little patience, but it is all worth it in the end because the result is ridiculously adorable!!!

Bunny Crackers

Use a bunny-shaped cookie cutter to cut soft cheese into little bunnies. Spread mascarpone on a cracker, place the cheese bunny on top, add crinkle-cut carrot slices for ears, and a goji berry for the nose.

Baby Chick Crackers

Cut hard cheese into small squares. Use two squares for the chick’s body. Make wings from sliced cheese, legs and beaks from carrot, and tiny raisin pieces for the eyes. Spread mascarpone on a cracker, place the feet and wings first, then layer the cheese squares and add the face.

Baby Chick Face Crackers

Cut circles from hard cheese using a small round cookie cutter. Spread mascarpone on a cracker, place the cheese circle on top, and add two raisin eyes and a carrot triangle for the beak.

Cucumber-Carrot Cutout Crackers

Use a flower-shaped veggie cutter to cut the centers out of the cucumber and carrot slices. Spread cream cheese on a cracker, place the hollowed-out cucumber slice on top, and fill the center with a carrot cutout.

To Assemble

Cover your board with baby lettuce leaves. Add all your decorated crackers, scatter baby tomatoes, cucumber cutout centers, and fresh edible flowers around for a festive spring look.

Creative Ways of Using Fresh Greens and Flowers on Cheese Boards

Using fresh ingredients like flowers and greens is the best way to jazz up your Easter charcuterie. You’ll notice I used flowers and lettuce, but you can do whatever you want or use what you’ve got on hand! Any type of green is great as a base, gives the green fields vibe to the board. Rosemary, thyme, edible flowers and any other dainty, cute herb or flower are also great additions. If you’re making this for children, make sure that everything is totally edible! Adding filigree not only makes the board visually more beautiful,  but it also ties in the whole spring theme and brings additional aromatics to the board! 

Ways to Customize Your Easter Bunny Snack Board

This Easter bunny charcuterie board is super flexible! Here are some fun ways to switch things up:

  • Include mascarpone, whipped goat cheese or a herb cream cheese as your cracker base.
  • Use salami rosettes or prosciutto fans for a meaty twist.
  • Add dyed deviled eggs or chocolate-covered pretzels for an extra festive flair.

Let’s be real—kids are obsessed with fun food. This Easter snack board is full of whimsy and color, and it’s totally hands-on. Let them help cut out bunny shapes or decorate with raisins and carrots. Easter Charcuterie Snack Board

Ingredients

  • Hard and soft cheeses of choice I used Asiago, copper kettle and a Mayan cocoa rubbed fontal cheese
  • Marscapone cheese or cream cheese
  • Assorted crackers
  • Cos or baby lettuce
  • Cucumbers
  • Crinkle cut carrots
  • Goji berries
  • Raisins
  • Carrots
  • Baby tomatoes
  • Spring flowers

Instructions

Bunny Instructions

  • Simply cut out the bunny shape in a soft cheeses using the bunny cookie cutters. Spread mascarpone cheese on a cracker, lay the cheese bunny ontop and add crinkle cut carrot slices over the ears and a goji berry for the nose

Baby Chicks Instructions

  • Cut hard cheese of choice into small squares. Set two squares aside for each chick. And Carefully cut little wings out of sliced cheese. Cut out cute little legs with carrots and small triangles for the beaks. and slice the corner of the raisins and roll into balls for the eyes. Spread mascarpone on a cracker and place the wings and feet first followed lay two squares of cheese overlapping. Then the raisin eyes and carrot beak.

Baby Chick Face Instructions

  • Cut out circular shapes of a hard cheese Using a small fluted round cookie cutter. Spread a cracker with mascarpone place one circular piece of cheese in the center and add two raisin eyes and a carrot beak.

Cucumber Carrot Cutout Crackers Instructions

  • For these fun and easy crackers. Using a flower shaped vegetable cutter, cut the center out of cucumber slices. *save the centers for decorating the board.
  • And then do the same with crinkle cut carrot slices. Then spread a cracker with cream cheese and place a slice of the cucumber with the center removed into the center and put the carrot cut out into the empty middle of the cucumber.

Assemble Instructions

  • On a large serving board, place either baby lettuce or cost lettuce to cover the entire base. Next add all of your prepared crackers and decorate with baby tomatoes, the cucumber flower cutouts that we set aside earlier and any little flower decorations of choice.

Notes

The idea behind this board is to have fun! I have described and shown what I chose to do but feel free to have fun with it! Create any shapes or faces that you’d like! And decorate with any of your fave ingredients that scream spring!

Snowman Smoothie

Create a delightful Snowman Smoothie for a festive start to your day. With bananas, vegan yogurt, and coconut, it's a fun, nutritious beverage that's as enjoyable to make as it is to sip during the holiday season.

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit with something creative and delicious – my Snowman Smoothie!

This adorable, whimsical drink is not just a breakfast or snack; it’s a fun activity that’s perfect for the holiday season. You’re already making the smoothie so why not take things to the next level and have some fun with the look! You can serve these Christmas morning, or really any morning if you’re in that festive mood!

The Ingredients for this deliciously chilly Snowman Smoothie:

  • Bananas (Fresh or Frozen): The base of this smoothie and also a great source of potassium and natural sweetness.
  • Shredded Coconut: Adds a snowy texture and is rich in fiber and healthy fats.
  • Vegan Yogurt: Provides creaminess and probiotics for gut health.
  • Almond Milk: A dairy-free alternative, light and perfect for blending smoothies.
  • Vegan White Chocolate: For crafting cute snowman noses, adding a touch of sweetness.
  • Natural Vegan-Friendly Orange Food Dye: To color the chocolate noses, making them vibrant and festive.
  • Dry Erase Marker: For drawing faces on glasses, adding personality to each snowman.

Making these Snowman Smoothies is both quick and simple!

Start by crafting carrot noses with vegan white chocolate and natural orange food dye. Once they’re set, draw adorable faces on your glasses and attach the noses. Blend all the smoothie ingredients to creamy perfection, pour into your snowman glasses, and top with shredded coconut for a snowy effect.

Snowman Smoothie

Do you want to build a SNOWMAN!!! Well I got the next best thing! a SMOOTHIE snowman! The ultimate Fun and delicious start to any morning during the most wonderful time of the year. Adorable, whimsical and just as much fun to create as it is to sip. This snowman smoothie will have young and old smiling this Christmas!

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas fresh or frozen, sliced
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 2 cups vegan yogurt
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbsp vegan white chocolate
  • natural vegan friendly orange food dye
  • dry erase marker for decorating
  • 4 tbsp shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

  • Let’s start by creating our adorable fun snowman glasses! Create the carrot noses by melting the vegan white chocolate in a small bowl in the microbe in 10 second increments until melted.
  • Then mix in a drop of natural orange food dye.
  • Spread a small sheet of aluminum foil onto a flat surface and using a teaspoon, shape small carrot shapes! Then Place in the fridge to set
  • Next grab your serving glasses. With a dry erase marker. Create eyes and a mouth and then stick your cute little carrot noses in the center using a little leftover melted white chocolate to help it stick. Then place the glasses in the fridge to chill before serving.
  • Next. On to the smoothie. To a high speed blender, add all smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Remove the snowman glasses from the fridge. Pour in the smoothie. Then top with shredded coconut! Happy holiday sipping!

The Wholesome Ingredients that Make Up these Deliciously Vegan Grinch Cookies

Grinch Cookies

CANT STOP grinching. Won’t stop grinching!! 
These FUN holiday cookies are a hit for this festive season! Added chewy AND sweet. These are naughty and nice and Christmas in every bite! 
Sure to turn any grinch into a Christmas loving elf! Bringing the nostalgia of fresh baked sugar cookies with the most fun festive twist, these are  completely plantbased and a must try for the holidays!

  • 1 oven

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegan butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (extra for rolling) 
  • 2½ tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar tightly packed
  • a few drops of a natural store bought food dye mixed with 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • ¾ cup vegan white chocolate chips
  • vegan friendly red heart shaped sprinkles/candies

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease, or Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper
  • In a large mixing bowl, add vegan butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar/coconut sugar and beat with a hand mixer until light and fluffy (around 3 mins) 
  • Next, add the natural green food dye mix and vanilla extract, then cream together once more just to combine.
  • To that add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, matcha powder and salt to the bowl. Mix together until the flour is evenly incorporated.
  • Pour in the white vegan choc chips and red heart shaped candies and mix through.
  • Scoop heaping tbs of the mixture and roll into balls, roll the balls in granulated sugar then place on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the cookies on the middle rack in the oven, one tray at a time, for 10-12 minutes. The perfect cookie will have edges that are firming but the center will still look slightly underbaked. This will ensure you have the perfect chewy consistency.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven. Allow one minute to cool ever so slightly on the tray before transferring to a cooling rack.
  • Then. DEVOUR and enjoy these festive and fun holiday cookies!!! 

Notes

** for a flat cookie, reduce baking soda and baking powder to a 1/8 tsp each or omit entirely. 
** add as much or as little natural food dye as you’d like to achieve the shade of green that you would like best. 
** if you like things on the sweeter side add an extra 1/4 cup of vegan white chocolate chips

Christmas Tree Chia Pudding

A base of protein and iron packed chia pudding that can be prepped to be served in advance, topped with the most fantastic. All natural fruit Christmas tree! The magic and whimsy of this time of year can be captured in our food, I can hopefully provide a little inspiration to create delicious, and nutritious breakfast that can bring a festive smile!

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk or plant milk of choice
  • 6 tbsp vegan Greek style yogurt
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

Topping Ingredients

  • kiwi fruit
  • pomegranate seeds
  • cinnamon sticks
  • banana
  • coconut shredded

Instructions

  • First let’s prep our chia pudding. (This step is best done the night prior but you can also do it a few hours in advance of serving).
  • In a large bowl, combine all pudding ingredients and whisk until thoroughly combined. Let stand 5 mins and whisk again to remove any lumps. Cover and refrigerate for minimum one hour or if using for breakfast prep. Overnight 🙂
  • Once the chia pudding is set, peel and slice the kiwi fruit into small triangles.
  • Add your desired amount of the chia pudding mix to a bowl. And begin to layer your kiwi triangles into the shape of a tree. Start with one at the top. Then two beneath that. Then three and so on.
  • Once you have your kiwi tree. Top with a banana star (I used a vegetable cut out) a cinnamon stick for the trunk. Pomegranate seeds for the ornaments and finally some shredded coconut below to mimic snow! All natural and fun! Enjoy!

What you will need for your own Grinch Smoothie

  • Fresh Spinach: Giving all your green needs (color and nutrition) this mighty green is packed with vitamins for energy and iron.
  • Shredded Coconut: Adds texture and is rich in fiber and healthy fats.

Grinch Smoothie

MERRY GRINCHMAS!!! "Santa, don't forget the Grinch. I know he's mean and hairy and smelly, and his hands are cold and clammy, but I think he's kinda... sweet." — Cindy Lou.
We are celebrating our favorite fury green Christmas grump with this absolutely ADORABLE, fun, nutritious and beyond DELICIOUS grinch smoothie!!

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • ½ cup coconut shredded
  • 1½ cups mango frozen
  • 1 banana sliced
  • ½ cup vegan Greek style yogurt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cup almond milk

Decoration Ingredients

  • vegan whipped topping for decoration
  • christmas straw
  • little santa hat
  • dry erase marker
  • grinch stencil I got mine from Amazon. But you can draw the face however you like!

Instructions

  • Let’s start by having some fun’s drawing our grinch faces! Grab a black dry erase marker and if using a stencil, simply tape it to hold it in place and carefully draw within the lines. Remove the stencil and bam! Our grinch face glass is ready! Set it aside and move into the smoothie!
  • In a high speed blender, add all smoothie ingredients and blend until thick and creamy.
  • Grab that awesome grinch glass and fill to the top and watch as your green lil grinch emerges.
  • To decorate. Top with vegan whipped topping, a fun holiday straw and for a lil extra fun pop a lil santa hat on the straw. Happy sipping and happy holidays!!!!

It’s a simple, make-ahead recipe that’s great for bringing everyone together, from the little ones to the grown-ups, for a fun and festive meal prep experience. Anyone will be surprised when they lay their eyes on your creative decoration that brings frosty to life! 

The Magical Ingredients That Get Frosty Tip Toein’ Around!

Coconut Milk: A creamy, dairy-free base rich in vitamins and minerals.

Plant Milk: Adds extra creaminess while keeping it vegan.

Chia Seeds (Bare Organics): High in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber for a healthy start to your day. (please provide the link for this)

Frosty The Chia Man Pudding

This breakfast is so simple, perfect for meal prep and the perfect recipe to bring family and friends together for a festive smile this holiday season!!!

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 8 tbsp chia seeds I used BARE ORGANICS
  • 1 tbsp blue spirulina powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a bowl whisk all ingredients together then let it rest for 5 minutes before whisking again to remove all lumps.
  • Cover and refrigerate for an hr or even overnight. 
  • Once set add to your bowl and form your first with coconut, vegan choc chips for buttons and eyes, a carrot stick nose  and cinnamon stick arms.

My Santa Claus Oats are a playful yet nourishing blend, designed to fuel you or the little ones with energy and good cheer. And guess what? They pair wonderfully with my Rudolph Smoothie for those who want a double dose of Christmas fun. The creamy raspberry oats, topped with whimsical, cheerful decorations, are a delight to make and even more fun to eat.

This recipe is a little bit naughty and a whole lot nice, striking the perfect balance between indulgence and nutrition.

The heart-healthy oats, packed with plant protein and fiber, lay the foundation for a day of holiday excitement, while the cheeky vegan marshmallows and candy eyes add a sprinkle of joyous mischief. Santa Claus Oats

HO HO HO and a merry ol’ OATMAS to all!!!! Perfect for wowing friends and family and so much fun to create with kids and BIG kids alike this Santa Claus Oats bowl is exactly what you need!

Ingredients

Oats Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats gluten free
  • 1-2 bananas mashed
  • 2 scoops vanilla plant based protein powder
  • 1½ tbs chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbs maple syrup optional
  • vegan marshmallows
  • candy eyes
  • 1 small punnet fresh raspberries mashed
  • extra whole raspberries for garnish
  • coconut shredded

Instructions

  • Let’s prepare our oats!! Simply mix all ingredients in a medium to large bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
  • Once the oats are ready, let’s mashed those raspberries up in a small bowl simply with a fork and set aside.
  • Add half the mixture to a bowl, and gather your toppings.
  • Spoon and spread the mashed raspberries on the top section of oats on a half moon shape to create Santa’s hat!
  • Add marshmallows along the line of our raspberry hat. And three marshmallows together to the side for the iconic santa hat Pom Pom.
  • Now onto Santa’s beard. Simply sprinkle shredded coconut at the base of the bowl to mimic a beard.
  • Next place two candy eyes and one cute raspberry for the nose. Happy holidays!!!

It comes together quickly and you will probably drink it even faster! It’s so delicious.

Candy Cane Smoothie

Let’s take a ride down candy cane lane! Nostalgic flavors, whimsical holiday presentation and so much easier than you think. This is about to be your new favorite Christmas drink to wow fam and friends.

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas frozen
  • 1 tbsp pink pitaya powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • 1½ cups cashew milk or plant milk of choice
  • 2 vegan friendly candy canes crushed
  • 2 tbsp vegan white chocolate melted

Instructions

  • Start by crushing your candy canes in a zip lock bag. I simply walked them with the back of a knife!
  • In a small bowl, melt the vegan white chocolate in 10 second intervals until melted.
  • Dip the tops of your serving glasses in the chocolate and sprinkle with the crushed CANDYCANE.
  • Leave the serving glasses in the fridge to chill ready for serving
  • Add all smoothie ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy
  • Remove your glasses from the fridge, pour in your smoothie, top with an extra candy and if you desire. Stir. Sip.

Notes

If you don’t want to have any added sugar you can sub the candy cane for a fun holiday straw and omit the rim!

Santa's Workshop Smoothie

There is no better way to get in your greens than with a little bit of fun and whimsy this holiday season. Let me take you to Santa’s Workshop for a sip of Christmas yum! Greens packed smoothie, beet/raspberry yogurt swirl and a fun lil strawberry santa hat! Fun for kids and BIG kids alike.

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 heaping handfuls fresh greens
  • 1½ cups mango frozen
  • 1½ bananas sliced
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1½ cups almond milk
  • 1 cup plant based yogurt
  • raspberry and beet powder
  • fresh strawberries
  • extra vegan yogurt
  • candy cane colored straws optional

Instructions

  • In a small bowl add 2-3 tablespoons of plant based yogurt and 1/2-1 tsp of half beet and raspberry powder and mix well **sub for natural vegan friendly food dye
  • Grab your serving glass and Using the back of a spoon, swipe from the bottom up to create bright beautiful red swirls.
  • Set the glass in the fridge to chill ready for serving
  • To a blender add all the smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Remove the glass from the fridge and pour in the beautiful green smoothie and watch the Christmas colors come to life!
  • Slice the bottom of a fresh strawberry. Dip the top in vegan yogurt and you have the cutest santa hat! Slide the strawberry on the side of the glass. Add your festive straw and get slurping!!!
